What are the benefits of drinking Hibiscus tea?

How many cups of Hibiscus tea can I drink a day?
Consume one mug daily at most (abundance of the beneficial can be harmful).

What are the side effects of drinking Hibiscus tea?
Hibiscus tea can cause a drop in blood pressure and should be avoided if taking blood pressure medication.  

Hibiscus tea can also decrease your blood sugar levels and shouldn’t be used without medical supervision if you’re taking diabetes medication.

As always, use only as directed and consult with your doctor before use with other medication (especially diuretics). Not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women.   

When is the best time to drink Hibiscus tea?
Before bedtime (to facilitate peaceful slumber and awaken energized) or in the morning (to recover quickly and revitalize) — either way, you'll be invigorated and enthusiastic to hit the gym or breakfast.

Sipping it aids in regulating the sleep-wake cycle and ensuring a restful night of shut-eye.

Does Hibiscus tea make you sleepy?
Hibiscus tea is caffeine free and has mild sedative and anti-anxiety properties which can help lower
your feelings of stress and anxiety, helping you relax. 

It can make you sleepy and shouldn’t be used with other medications that cause drowsiness.

Is Hibiscus tea the tea for me?

Hibiscus tea is not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women.  Use only as directed and check with
your doctor before use with other medications (diuretics).
