Frequently Asked Questions

How much Hibiscus Tincture can I have?

Adults use 1ml daily.

How do I use a tincture?

Simply put the recommended amount under your tongue or in a glass of water or juice.

Do I choose alcohol or glycerine based?

Glycerine based is a sweet, sugar like solvent that is better for children, those that have a religious or health aversion to alcohol, or those that do not like the taste of alcohol based tinctures.

Alcohol based tinctures have a virtually indestructible lifespan and you will be able to use it for years to come.

What are the side effects of using hibiscus?

Hibiscus can cause a drop in blood pressure and should be avoided if taking blood pressure medication.

Hibiscus can also decrease your blood sugar levels and shouldn’t be used without medical supervision if you’re taking diabetes medication.

As always, use only as directed and consult with your doctor before use with other medication (especially diuretics). Not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women.

When is the best time to use hibiscus?

Before bedtime (to facilitate peaceful slumber and awaken energized) or in the morning (to recover quickly and revitalize) — either way, you'll be invigorated and enthusiastic to hit the gym or breakfast.

Is Hibiscus the herb for me?

Hibiscus is not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Use only as directed and check with your doctor before use with other medications (diuretics).

If you’re on medication or under the supervision of a doctor for a chronic condition, check with your medical professional before use.
