How much Mullein Tincture can I have?

We recommend you start smaller and work your way up if necessary most adults only need 1ml daily. If you have acute respiratory distress and feel that you require a higher dose, you can safely have - up to - 4mls daily.

When do I take the tincture?

Using Mullein tincture 30 minutes before a hot shower will really help it to expel any stubborn mucous from your airways.

That said; if you are using it to just to help open the airways without having excess mucous, it can be used at any time you feel it is required.

Do I choose alcohol or glycerine based?

Glycerine based is a sweet, sugar like solvent that is better for children, those that have a religious or health aversion to alcohol, or those that do not like the taste of alcohol based tinctures.

Alcohol based tinctures are more potent and effective. Alcohol based tinctures have a virtually indestructible lifespan and you will be able to use it for years to come.

How does Mullein Tincture help my lungs?

Mullein isn’t suitable for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Please consult with your doctor before use if you’re taking other medications (especially anticoagulants or heart medications) or have significant health issues. Mullein is not suitable for those with liver conditions. Mullein may interact with other medications.
