How much Mullein Tincture can I have?
We recommend you start smaller and work your way up if necessary most adults only need 1ml daily. If you have acute respiratory distress and feel that you require a higher dose, you can safely have - up to - 4mls daily.
When do I take the tincture?
Using Mullein tincture 30 minutes before a hot shower will really help it to expel any stubborn mucous from your airways.
That said; if you are using it to just to help open the airways without having excess mucous, it can be used at any time you feel it is required.
Do I choose alcohol or glycerine based?
Glycerine based is a sweet, sugar like solvent that is better for children, those that have a religious or health aversion to alcohol, or those that do not like the taste of alcohol based tinctures.
Alcohol based tinctures are more potent and effective. Alcohol based tinctures have a virtually indestructible lifespan and you will be able to use it for years to come.
